Music night is finally over. It was great. Everyone did a great job,
nothing went seriously wrong, and lots of people were able to invite
friends and family who were members and nonmembers.
One of the best miracle stories of music night was because of Okajima
Shimai. She invited her friend from Gifu (in the Nagoya mission, two
hours away by Shinkansen) to come see Music Night. He has had several
different friends in the church for a long time. But didn't realize
that they all belong to the same church and only found out much later.
He was able to come to music night and then church the next day and
after church we were able to gather all the elders and teach the first
lesson. He always has the right answers. He is great and has a lot of
desire.
One thing I've learned is that as a church member, I'm not as good at
praying as I think I am. Hearing an investigators first prayer is
often so much more powerful and sincere than most prayers I ever hear
in life in the church. Also, Japanese people are really really good at
praying sincerely. It interesting. I've learned a lot about prayer.
